The 2019 Beijing CBD Forum was opened on the afternoon of October 30, 2019. Themed with “Global Vision, Industry Insights & Urban Future“, the Forum was hosted by Chaoyang District people’s Government of Beijing City and organized by Beijing CBD Administration Committee, with Deloitte providing the intellectual support, aiming to seek the path to the future development of Beijing CBD from a global perspective. Lin Keqing, executive vice mayor of Beijing, Wang Hao, Secretary of the CPC Chaoyang District Committee and Wen Xian, District Mayor of Chaoyang District people’s Government, attended the Forum. Also, leaders of the government, industries, finance, education and service sectors were invited to the Forum and give speeches, joining hands to explore the future of Beijing CBD Ecosystem through zero-distance and all-round communication.

At the Forum, Wang Weijin, Deputy Director of Department of Foreign Investment Administration, Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, Zhao Bingdi, Vice-president of China & Northeast Asia Company of Panasonic Corporation and CEO of Panasonic Corporation of China, Wen Jia, partner of Alibaba and Chief Executive of Public Affairs, Luo Gang, Chief Supervisor of aiBank, Bai Chong’en, Mansfield Freeman Chair Professor and Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University and Philip Tsai, Deloitte Global Vice Chairman, representing the insiders of the government, industries, finance, education and service sectors respectively, had heated discussions to explore the future of Beijing CBD, focusing on the construction of Beijing CBD Ecosystem and aiming to set up the communication platform between government and enterprises and an enterprise ecosystem.

Opening-up and innovation are constant subjects. The white paper titled Construction and Development of CBD Ecosystem was issued at the Forum, aiming to examine the development trend of new economy and new technology from the perspective of enterprises, so as to provide insights into the connotation, construction and development of ecosystem as well as intellectual support for the formation of Beijing CBD Ecosystem.

On the same day, the Beijing International CBD Ecological Alliance was officially launched. The Alliance is expected to serve as a bridge for internal and cross-border communication and cooperation of enterprises and provide professional suggestions on industrial development planning for enterprises. It will also push forward the integration of commercial real estate economy and enhance resource sharing and cross-border cooperation among enterprises, so as to forge a CBD ecosystem and promote regional economic development.
