Web Conference: Rethinking Global Business Districts Story
2020 has been a transformative year for business districts worldwide. The health crisis has dramatically altered the way business districts operate, accelerating their transformation. How are they handling this unprecedented crisis? How can they bounce back? What are the resulting economic, social and cultural impacts? How can these challenges be seized upon as new opportunities?
For the first time since the start of the health crisis, business district leaders got together to share their experiences, which vary by region (Europe, America, Africa and Asia), and debate the new issues and consequences arising from this pandemic for the future of Global Business Districts. They also discussed how changes accelerate current trends in the fields of placemaking, retail, housing, hospitality, mobility, offices and workspaces.
